LM_NET Archive



While I agree that Librarians will be around in the future, I wish I could
agree that Colleges teach the students about technology as part of education
courses.  In my experience, student teachers often have difficulty using the
technology themselves, let alone integrating it into their teaching
practice.  It has surprised and disturbed me that the so called technology
literate young people know so little beyond using their cell phones and
often have no idea how to plan lessons that integrate technology in such a
way that students benefit from the interactions.  Sad....
