Hello All,

I was interested in Janet's post today (her non-HIT) about a Parts of
a Book PowerPoint, because I have just had a brainstorm. (Those of
you who know me, know that brainstorms aren't especially out of "my"
ordinary :>)

I have a brand new book out from Upstart entitled THE LIBRARY
DOORS. It is charmingly illustrated by the fabulous Nadine Bernard
Westcott and is a remake of the familiar song, "The Wheels on the
Bus." This time, though, it's not the wheels going round and round
but the library doors swinging OPEN AND SHUT while the patrons COME
AND GO and perform so many other familiar library activities. I'm
thrilled to announce it to all of you because I'm fairly certain
you're going to want to SING it :>

You can read more about the book at my website:
http://www.tonibuzzeo.com/bookslibrarydoors.html There you'll find
that great bibliography of Wheels on the Bus books and adaptations we
put together last week too.

Now for the brainstorm: I'm wondering whether any of you would be
interested in a Parts of a Fiction Book PowerPoint that used THE
LIBRARY DOORS to demonstrate those parts. Of course, I wouldn't be
able to include nonfiction features like index, table of contents,
and bibliography. But for your little ones, this might be a good
starting presentation. I'd love to hear from you if you're
interested and if there are enough of you, I'd be willing to give
some time to this project.

Best,
Toni
