I sure do--I don't get that many emails, but those I do get are usually questions about home access to databases, or recommended resources for research at home. I also have a Facebook account, and accept any Friend requests that come my way from students. My cachet has certainly gone up since the kids found this out about me! My Facebook account is pretty innocuous, and does require that I periodically get on and update my profile, but otherwise it's a pretty painless way to be involved in the virtual world as the students are. I was just wondering how many high school teacher/librarians give out their email address to students so that they can email them questions? And if you do, how many questions do you get? Is it very time consuming? Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom!
