Last week I posted a request for a research activity that I was hoping someone might be able to identify for me. Unfortunately no one seems to have recognized it for me description. I am only posting this for those people who requested a hit. The original request is below in case anyone reads this who missed it the first time around. I would still love to know the answer if anyone out there recognizes it from my description below. Thank you. Kaline Goodrich, LMS HES & HMS Hermon, ME kaline369@yahoo.com About three years ago I got an offer in the mail for some activity sheets that were basically a scavenger hunt using research sources - encyclopedias, the internet, dictionaries, almanacs, etc. The idea was to find the answers to about ten questions. I believe the answers were all numbers. Then a little math had to take place and the final answer was a zip code. Students then had to find the place the zip code was for. I couldn't get it then, but kept the ordering info. Unfortunately I have had the library moved twice since then and can't find the darn thing. I don't know if I want to order it, but I would like to take another look. Anyone out there know what I am talking about and can send me the info (or better yet a URL)? Also, if you bought it, how has it worked for you? Does it engage the students? Are they helpful in reviewing there sources? Anything else you think I should know? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
