I just saw this announcement on another list:

It's just come to my attention that on Tuesday, October 10th at 10:00
am, David Macaulay will be offering a free live webcast for middle
schoolers to talk about his career, his process, and his new book THE
WAY WE WORK. (Houghton, 978-0618233786)
Participants will be able to e-mail him questions in real time during
the presentation.
To register, teachers can go to www.thewayweworkbook.com. After
registering, they'll receive information on hosting and viewing the
webcast.
Recommended for 5th grade and up.
