I only received two responses, and I have included that information below. I know
that my schedule is going to tentatively look like this if anyone else is looking
for ideas:
3:30-4:00 Snacks, watch Paolini video (either an interview or him reading excerpt
of the book)
4:00-4:30 Fencing and swordplay demonstration
4:30-5:00 Activities/Games (not decided yet - trivia?)
______________________________________________________________________________________
How about taking some kind of poll ahead of time and show the
results at the event. Make sure to include some questions about the Eragon
movie. Fans of the book universally seem to despise the movie so have some
question in there that gives them a chance to vent. If you don't know what
to ask, get a Paolini groupie to help you. That's what I would have to do!

One other person said they were doing their celebration during lunch periods. They
were going to do snacks and have a lottery to see who got to check out the new book
first!

Thanks for the responses!

"Wicked people never have time for reading," Dewey said. "It's one of the reasons
for their wickedness."
