[LM_NET] ADMIN: Re: "Re: Hey" (Spam)

Please be assured that the original "Re: Hey" was not intentionally sent by
Diane Lungaro.  She contacted me personally offlist out of concern.  We have
had prior, though extremely rare, occurances of spam sent to the list,
usually through "spoofed" email addresses.  Often in this case, someone who
has the victim's email address in their list of email Contacts has a virus,
their contact list is raided, and similar spam messages are sent to appear
as if they originated from their contacts.  Likely, this was never actually
even sent through Diane's account.  Please simply exercise use of the Delete
key and enjoy the rest of our postings today.  In almost all of these cases,
the message is an isolated incident.  Of course, if repeated spam were to
occur, we would take additional measures to protect the list.  Thanks for
your consideration.  And a wonderful new school year to everyone!
