[LM_NET] REQUEST: Multi-cultural short stories for freshmen

Hello All!

I'm going to be starting a short story unit this spring and I want to focus on 
awareness of cultural differences and diversity.  Any suggestions for stories that 
would be appropriate for high school freshmen in a conservative, predominantly 
white, rural community would be greatly appreciated.  We want to open some eyes and 
minds.
