Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is an Ed code (or any other official document)
that says deselection should be done by a credentialed librarian? We have a
situation where an aide has pulled 30 boxes of books for discard with no
other input. Kinda makes me cringe in these days of no money. Just
wondering-- I don't have a contract with this school (yes, they are out of
compliance), I have only heard about this through some concerned citizens
familiar with the library. Thanks for any info.
