Hello Danna, I believe the "mature content" that they are referring to is on pages 72 and 73 where they have the woman with the largest augmented breasts (my 6th-8th graders especially like that one when they find it!) and they also try to look at in in 3D. The only reason I even know about it is because I was using the GBWR as a pop-culture source for identifying keywords and one of the items they had to identify was the keyword in "person with the longest fingernails." When they identified it and I opened to the page----boy was I surprised and so where they......... On that same page there is also the "longest penis extension","most surgical procedures to look like an animal" and some other items. I was very disappointed when I saw these entries as this is one of the most popular browsing books in the media center and I am uncomfortable with allowing the?2009 edition to be borrowed. I made several attempts to contact the editor, Craig Glenday, and never heard from them. They could have done a "school version" GBWR and saved a lot of trouble. Any ideas as to what I can do with those pages when these books are eligible for circulation?? Can anyone enlighten me as to what this might be? I usually order this and have kiddos clamoring for it, but don't wish to cause myself any headaches :-) Thanks! -- Danna DeMars, LMS Garrett Elem Hazelwood, MO demarskda@gmail.com -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
