I guess I would respond to this criticism by saying that I respond to my student 
friends on FB in a different manner than I do with my adult friends. I don't send 
virtual gifts, join teen groups, etc. I keep all of my personal messages between me 
and the recipient of the message rather than posted on a wall. I don't see this 
type of behavior as "hanging out with kids." I actually don't see it as being that 
much different than having a forum for my book club kids or a blog on my web site.
