Reading the Bible in the Public School

I definitely think the teacher was wrong in asking a student to read something
else. Many public school libraries have the bible (and other religious books such
as the Koran) available for check-out. What would you challenge? I think it would
only become a problem if the student reading the bible were offending other
students by sharing their belief in conversations that were not agreeable to the
entire group.
