A solution to the problem would be to create controlled spaces where students can log on and create web 2.0 projects for the school community. Just as I would not hand a fifth grader the keys to the car and say go on vacation, I don't like kids being able to post without oversight. Because of the legal ramifications I can understand why a principal would be nervous. The few who do have it set up are not very sophisticated or cost too much.
