A teacher has come to me looking for the name of a book she read as a child. It
had something to do with a train and when you read the line quickly it sounded like
a moving train.

Does anyone know this book? Here is what she remembers:

"Catch a teacher, patch his britches, catch a teacher patch his britches........

another part of it goes:

"they could hear the long off whistle, and the long off wail and the long off
tremble of the railroad track as the heavy, giant train roared on".... or something
like that. This was probably 35 years ago.

Thanks for your help,
Margo Rudder
