As I collected data for my own program this year I was curious about how a flexible schedule like mine would measure when compared with other flex programs as well as that dreaded fixed schedule. Thanks to everyone who responded. I got lots of additional information and the responses came from East to West coast in the US as well as Venezuela. The average of classes taught was 26.6 per week. I heard from full-time and half-time LMS as well as those who work between schools. I heard from public, private and international schools. The most interesting thing to me was that some flexible programs teach as many as this average number, and some fixed schedules teach fewer than this average number. Thanks to Carol Simpson for reminding me about those wonderful LMC surveys, and the link to a 2007 survey about similar data related to my question here. http://www.linworth.com/pdf/main/survey_results/1qs_March2007.pdf This was completely informal as a survey, but I have answered some of my own personal questions. I hope all respondents will accept this group "thanks" because I received more than 50 responses.
