Hi All, Yesterday, I had a student finally return a book that had been checked out most of the school year. The student wrote his name all over the book and outlined the barcode and spine label protector in pen. His teacher is already working with me to get a replacement fee from him. Since the book is most definitely still readable, I am wondering whether to reshelve the book until I get a replacement or whether to give it away. I checked the archives and found some great damaged book anecdotes and some wonderful sample letters to send home from parents.
