Hi Maria and All,

This isn't quite what you are needing, but since I don't think I made this
announcement on the list, I thought it was a good time to jump in and say
that I have two Smartboard lessons on my Web site (yes, the very Web site
that Judy Freeman was kind enough to say is always on her "best author Web
site" list!).

Fellow list member Laura Bowers created both from PowerPoint presentations I

The first is a Parts of the Book Smarboard lesson based on my book THE
LIBRARY DOORS. It's available at:

The second is a Dewey Decimal System Smartboard lesson based on my book THE
GREAT DEWEY HUNT. It's available at

Thanks to Laura for developing these. I'm happy to create PowerPoint
presentations to teach concepts from any of my books (just ask!) and Laura
is happy to create Smartboard lessons for them all for our use. Win-win!

Toni (at TLA--signing NO T. REX IN THE LIBRARY at S&S 11-12 on Friday and at
Upstart 2-4 Friday).

I'm taking an online class on how to use the smartboard. One of my
assignments is to interview teachers/librarians who use it daily in
their classrooms. Can anyone give me feedback on how they use it in
their classroom/media center to teach literacy skills?
