Greetings, I am putting together a website with resources for assisting developing readers with book selections: kids whose interest level exceeds their reading level. These are students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities -- they want desperately to read well, and leisure reading is a key determinant of the progress and confidence. Accordingly, they are different from reluctant readers. I am pulling together resources on a website which I plan to put up next week. If you have ideas (lists or individual books), please e-mail me directly. I will post a link the the website next Wednesday. Thanks for the privilege of being a part of your listserv. Your collective wisdom is amazing and appreciated! I genuinely appreciate your help.
