Good evening,
I am in the enviable/unenviable position of completely rebuilding my
library. We got new carpet over the summer and everything was boxed up
before I left and I am now boxing it up.
Because this is a district resource center, I have a lot of movies. I
started five years ago only purchasing dvd movies. I lost about 300
square feet with moves into the library of other programs, I am now
contemplating deleting all of the vhs movies to make room for other
material. As I am unpacking boxes, I asked my supervisor about this.
His response is that he felt I would be asked to get rid of the videos
soon. I am now in the process of shelving the dvds and leaving the vhs
in the boxes, but I thought I would get some more input.
If you have any thoughts on this matter, I would love to hear them.
