[LM_NET] TARGET BOOK TITLE

Hello smartest folks I know:

I am looking for a book title for a teacher who remembers a chapter book, probably 
elementary level, that has a boy who is unhappy that his parents left him with his 
grandmother.  He concocts some kind of potion or elixir that makes him grow very 
large, but when he tries to duplicate the concoctions, the results vary.  Sometimes 
the person gets small, sometimes large.
