And maybe we are in a transitory stage. Much like when we have aging
parents and children at home who need our care. We have the digital age
patrons and the 3D book lovers all within our care. We cater and help
both sets of patrons. We transition into the next stage of our
profession.
We can look to the future and sense a change coming. Unlike the "sky
falling" scenerio the change will be handled by librarians who are
looking to where the "puck will be" not where the puck is now.
Just a thought....
