I have an official return date so that I can hunt down overdues and fines, 
especially for seniors. But I find it difficult to keep the books, especially 
fiction, on the shelves for weeks instead of circulating so I usually let my 
readers continue to check out. This year, however, the problem is solved for me. 
The entire LMC, including my office and storage rooms, must be completely packed 
and I will not have access to the space a week and a half before the end of the 
school year. So, this year I must have a firm, official return date.
