TARGET--> Student Visitation Policies - HS LMC

Our high school is adopting a new schedule for 94-95 (fewer but longer
periods), and the media center staff along with the principal's advisory
committee is looking at changes in the student visitation policy for the
library/media center.  We want to ensure that all students who need to use the
facility have access, but don't care to be an 'escape' for students or outlet
for teachers who find themselves with even longer study hall periods than they
have now.  Would be happy to post information on policies and procedures that
provide effective and efficient use of the LMC (eg. time restrictions,
checkin-checkout procedures, number of visits, number of students per period,
etc.)
