Periodical Check-out Policies

In response to Periodical Checkout Policies:
Our high school media center considers our periodical collection to be
reference materials and available for in-center circulation only.  To
receive a periodical from our backfiles, a student makes out a request
slip, giving his/her name, the name of the periodical, and the date of the
periodical.  These slips are kept in the periodical storage room until the
periodical is returned.  Despite this policy, we still manage to lose a few
periodicals each year.
