Target->Internet providers

Lm_Net list:  My district is looking for a commercial internet provider
for all our schools.  I believe it will be a slip or ppp connection.  We
are using IBM computers exclusively.  Any suggestions on who is good, or
who to steer away from?  Some names I've been told we are looking into are:
            InterCom, Netcruiser, Mekler Web, InterRamp and LinQ
