?Plays on short notice

Not knowing any place to turn (or, for that matter, a BETTER place to ask) I
am posting this to LM_NET.

The drama teacher is in a panic here, because of predictable student
behaviour.  The play that the school was practicing has had to be scrapped
because four students in major roles have dropped out (over-committed,
grades falling)  Added to that, we are in South America, with some
significant problems in acquiring material quickly

She humbly asks the folks out there two questions:

1. Are there are recommendations for tried-and-true plays that 10-12 actors
can organize in about 6 weeks?

2. Is there a source (especially e-mail reachable) for ordering these by
courier?  Fax numbers would also be good.
