How do you "sell" the Internet to teachers and administrators when you don't have an Internet connection at school? I am going to try by bringing in my hardware from home and inviting a group at a time to come for a 30-minute tour. I want/need to WOW them! I intend to have bookmarks set in advance for the very best sites. In addition to showing what a powerful research tool the Internet is, I want to show them all the opportunities available for collaborative student projects, and this is where I need your help. What sites do you know of? I have Web66 and its "Live From the Hubble Space Telescope" project that is getting ready to begin this spring. I have TIES.K12.MN and its "Journey North" project that just started its new run yesterday. What else is out there for our students to get involved in? What are some of your experiences using these sites? If you want to include your favorite student "research" site as well, I'll be sure to include it/them in my bookmarks. Respond to me personally, and I will post a hit. Thanks so much! _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Nancy Evans, media specialist Albany Area Schools #745 Albany, Minnesota 56307 revans@tigger.stcloud.msus.edu "Cat people are different, to the extent that they generally are not conformists.
