How about 'old fashioned month' where you introduce the kids to pencils and paper and books! I don't mean to sound snide, but coming from a district whose idea of technology withdrawal is the juice machine breaking down... What a great opportunity letting kids compare what 'no tech' means. Like weeks of no TV. Time to get out and smell the trees!
