LM_Netters: For the past few months we have been using Gale's DISCovering Authors on our schoolwide LAN. Our students and faculty really like the program's content, but the program requires so much memory that we experience frequent conflict with other programs on our computers. We are running Internet access and MOLLI as well as two other CD databases on the network. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who (1) has experienced this problem and solved it, or (2) runs another author database of literary criticism successfully schoolwide, especially Twayne's DiscLit or the Scribner writer series. Any suggestions are welcome. Gloria Bush W. P. Davidson High School Media Specialist Mobile, AL bushg@aspire.cs.uah.edu "A Blue Ribbon School 1991 and 1996"
