Elem. Prep. Periods

Dear List,
        Our elementary coordinator is attempting to point out the
inequity of planning time between our elementary and MS/HS.  She is
attempting to find a solution to offering a prep/day for elem. teachers
among three buildings who currently share one of each, art, P.E., and
Integrated Arts (Music).  None are negotiated but are treated as
specials.  I have flexible scheduling for 3-5 gr. and meet once a week
with all k-2 gr.  Her plan is to remove the flex time and make me
accountable for all k-5 gr.  Can anyone offer suggestions for other ways
to give them a prep?
