It is fine to empty the netscape cache. Do it through Options,Network preferences. Your friend may be confusing this with the cache which builds up on the hard drive. The Netscape FAQs tells you how to do this, but they also warn you to be careful, since you are tampering in the Registry. I have not had the courage to do the second, and so far it does not seem to be a problem. I do not think the hard drive cache takes up much room. Hi, Our building tech. coordinatop recommends clearing your cache about once a month at the same time you rebuild your desktop. Kind of a routine maintenance thing. Netscape will then cache new sites and your regular ones each month. good luck, Pat Angus G.
