Loof Lirpa Visits

Noticing some April Fool's postings I thought I'd tell you mine.  I
announced to students in all my library classes that Loof Lipra, an
exchange student from Holland was visiting for the day and that he was a
friend of my daughter's so when they saw him in the halls to please be
polite and welcome him.  I told students and teachers he was wearing a name
tag so would be easily identified.

Several kindergarten students claimed to have seen him already, my
delightful (and complete fooled) aide made a banner welcoming our Holland
visitor, and our Vice Principal wanted to know who gave me the authority to
schedule an unplanned visit.  Principal asked to meet him.  Definitely gave
me a smile :)
