I just downloaded my e-mail and the weirdest thing happened!

I use Microsoft Internet Mail and News version 4.7 on a Windows 95
computer.(Pentium II)

Normally, when I download the new e-mail messages, they appear after all
the previous messages, and they are in order of date and time received.

Right now, however, since this latest download (144 messages) ALL the
messages are mixed up! The messages I just downloaded are interspersed with
old messages, including some I saved from a few months ago. Another weird
thing is that many of the messages from one source, for example, Homework
Central, or Dummies Daily, are now together, although they were received
weeks apart.

What happened??? I feel as if I am in the Twilight Zone.
