While working on an historical research project, I happened upon the "Making of America" project at Cornell University. Here is what the site says about the content: The Cornell University Library Making of America (MOA) Collection is a digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection is particularly strong in the subject areas of education, psychology, American history, sociology, religion, and science and technology. The Cornell University Library digital collection contains approximately 114 books and 24 Journals encompassing nearly 900,000 pages with 19th century imprints. The project represents a major collaborative endeavor in preservation and electronic access to historical texts. I think that many secondary teachers and their teachers will find this site quite useful. http://moa.cit.cornell.edu/MOA/moa-main_page.html Michele Missner -- Michele Missner Program Leader, Library Media Services Appleton Area School District Office: Einstein Middle School Phone: 920 832-4899 email: missnerm@athenet.net missnermichele@aasd.k12.wi.us Library Media Specialist Appleton West High School 610 N.
