I am a Media Specialist at a high school of 2600 students. I have several items
that I need help on PLEASE.
1. In the fall of 2000 our school will splitting and another high school is opening
in our district. The school board is currently talking about opening with only 9th
and 10th grades the first year and adding the rest within two years. Has anyone
experienced this type of move/split? Does anyone have any general advice on how to
start a new school or split an existing one successfully?
2. Since our school is so large, we have massive debt lists at the end of the year.
Does anyone know of a computer program for debt lists for a school?
3. We will be moving to Block Scheduling (4X4) in the year 2000. I need to know of
other schools that have been doing 4X4 block scheduling for several years. Could
someone send me a person to e-mail at the school to find out picky things like the
daily schedule, etc.?
Thanks for any help you can give.
