Sweet 5th grader looking for a penpal in Florida

Dear Florida members,

A darling girl came into the library this morning to request a penpal.  She
would very much like to find a girl 11 or 12 years old to correspond with by
regular mail.

Krista is in 5th grade.  She collects Beanie Babies and likes to write
poetry.  She also likes music -- rock & pop, especially.  Her favorite movie
is Austin Powers.
She would like to correspond with someone in Florida because someday she
would like to visit there.

If you know of someone who would enjoy having a penpal in Massachusetts,
please let me know.  Krista could write the first letter which I would be
happy to send to you for delivery at school.  Thereafter the children could
write directly to one another.

Thank you for helping make this "connection."   I know it's not strictly a
library question or need, but I was touched that Krista believed she could
find what she needed in the school library.
