Recently I read (listened to the unabridged version) Who Is That Masked Man
Anyway? by Avi.

I just want to recommend it to other libraries.

It is a great story, well-plotted, set during WWII, telling of shannigans of
a sixth grade boy who loves radio programs. We get a flavor of WWII American
life plus radio programs like The Shadow, Lone Ranger.....humorous, true to
life in a imaginative way. The main character sort of lives a fantasy
hero-like existence like the shows he loves.

BOYS WHO LIKE HARRY P. might like this one too!

I liked it a lot!
