Hi Debbie (and all),

As a new librarian, you may want to purchase the American Library
Association's book "Power Tools" - it has over 100 forms (including a
library asst. job description) and a CDRom at the back that has all of the
forms -- so you can adapt them to fit your school.  It's avaliable on the

I bought it at the ALA conference (it's $40.50 if you're an ALA member, $45
if not), and think it will be a really useful tool!  I am switching from a
public to a school library this fall, and the head of school libraries here
(and Information Power Goddess!) said she wants to buy her own copy too.
