I don't see that anyone was "turned away." The respondent explained where to find the information. I had the EXACT same thoughts, but decided to send specific information to several people instead of showing how each could do it themselves. That is the joy of community-you receive a variety of responses. Certainly the degrees do not prepare a person for every little possibility--but there is core information that each professional should know. Whatever training, it is still up to each person to identify and research gaps in their education. With experience and training I still feel the need to learn new things. I don't expect this group to handle the basics. There ARE questions which are more appropriate to try answering on your own, or to ask a mentor instead of via an international forum. I've appreciated the lesson when I receive a "nudge" from this group because that means I was caught in a slip and need to correct myself. cmillswms@aol.com Colleen Mills Williams PK-12 Media Specialist Florida Certification "Learn from the past, live in the present, plan for the future." =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
