I don't see that anyone was "turned away."  The respondent explained where to
find the information. I had the EXACT same thoughts, but decided to send
specific information to several people instead of showing how each could do
it themselves. That is the joy of community-you receive a variety of
responses.

Certainly the degrees do not prepare a person for every little
possibility--but there is core information that each professional should
know.

Whatever training, it is still up to each person to identify and research
gaps in their education. With experience and training I still feel the need
to learn new things. I don't expect this group to handle the basics. There
ARE questions which are more appropriate to try answering on your own, or to
ask a mentor instead of via an international forum.

I've appreciated the lesson when I receive a "nudge" from this group because
that means I was caught in a slip and need to correct myself.
