My principal asked me to do a Power Point training for our staff next week. I only have 45 minutes to teach them the program! Obviously, that isn't anywhere near enough time so I'll just do the bare minimum for them. I'm asking each person to bring a topic with a title and info to make 3 slides (4 including the title slide). What do you think are the most important components of Power Point for teachers to learn so they can use this in the classroom? For example, I'm not sure if I should go into importing pictures and sound although that's something I'm sure they'd like to know how to do. I doubt I'll have time to get into animation either. It seems to me that 45 minutes will barely be enough time to show them how to select a background, pick transitions, type their info, and see their slide show! If anyone has done a micro training like this or if you just have some advice on the MUSTS for me, I'd really appreciate it!
