There are 10 provinces and 3 territories in Canada. The new territory is called Nunavut and was created by splitting the Northwest Territories into two. The other territory is the Yukon. The rest (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island) are all provinces.
