Greetings, This is my first post, so please forgive me if it's not entirely correct. I need information about how many books an elementary school library should have in its collection; if you had unlimited funds or some extra money, how many library books should you have for each student in the school? My school population is approximately 700. Any help from any source, especially sources which non-library folks would appreciate, would be greatly appreciated. PTA voting this Wednesday, Jan. 10, on how to spend money. I'd like to see some of it go to books, but need more than my love of books to make my case. Thanking you in advance.
