The department leaders at my school have asked me to look into ways that we can "force" students to return textbooks. As it stands now, students do not really have to return textbooks until their senior year. This is creating a problem in that every year we have less and less books available for check out even though we have plenty of books. What I am requesting is this, what is your policy for textbook retrieval? How successful are you? Are you in compliance with state laws? Any assistance would be great, thank you.
