LM_NET: Library Media Networking

My guess is that the Librarian degree (AMLS or such) would have required
more courses in children's and young adult literature as well as more
courses in cataloging and reference materials as well as
collection-building.  Having received my AMLS from Univ. of Michigan 25
years ago, that was the emphasis.  I have, however, kept up with technology
and am the Tech Liaison in our school and have taken more computer-related
courses than I care to count.   I do feel strongly that both areas must be
strong areas of expertise in order for a Media Specialist to be truly
effective.
