Amen to Art's answer!!! I have H.S. seniors who
wouldn't/couldn't do the project described, but I have
a 9th grader, 14 years old, who is doing a
semester-long, 5-page, typed project with MLA
citations and format required, on the Carolina
Panthers pro football team, and doing a terrific job
of it. And, yes, he's getting lots of help, but he
wants to do it and that's what is important.

Answer to your question: the proverbial "it all
depends...."
