A hit and a thanks to all who replied!

Thank you to all who replied. The majority of the answers were negative, a
few lukewarm and (so far) two positive. Most said it was a lot of work with
not much remuneration, problems with theft, poor selection. The positive
replies had worked with local bookstores who ran the sale themselves. Most
replied that just before Christmas was best. Another respondent had done a
book fair during parent night.
