To all the wonderful and concerned folks who responded to my request for
help after receiving a very strange email---a hearty thank you.  It=B9s so
good to know that someone cares.

This is how that situation has resolved itself:

No computer was delivered to my door as the email promised!   (said compute=
r
was not ordered by me)
So far no questionable charges have been applied to my credit card accounts=
.
 ebay was notified so that they might be aware of this scam.
Credit card issuers were not notified=8Bno solid information to go on and I
did not feel inclined to change all the accounts.
Both my ISP and Cable Modem Providers were notified;   contents of strange
email was sent.
I did not respond to that message in any way;  did not click on the link to
confirm =B3purchase=B2 as requested.

So=8BI think I=B9m out of the woods.  I wonder how the other recipients of this
scam fared?
