I have two for you. Both books were highly reviewed for teens:

Myrtle of Willendorf by Rebecca O'Connell
"I heard them walk toward the door, which sent me to my room in a
hurry. I still needed the bathroom, but I couldn't face them in the
hallway.
Back in my room, I searched for my clock with the idea that I would
punish it for subjecting me to that scene. But when I found it, it read
only 6:50. My seldom-worn wristwatch confirmed the time. I hadn't
invaded Jada's bathroom time; she had invaded mine. [p.32]

Son of the Mob by Gordon Korman
I don't have the exact passage but I've rerequested the book from my
local public library because I want a copy of the passage for my files.
The story goes, this nice teenager's father is a mob boss but the teen
wants nothing to do with the family business. The section I'd use,
tells the story when his mother tries to be active in the PTO by baking
a truck-load of cookies for some school event. Unfortunately shipments
get mixed up and a truckload of hot watches is sent to the school
instead. Mom is also unsuccessful in convincing the Feds to hand over
the truckload of cookies that they have confiscated.
