Leveled Books

LM_NET members,
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit a lovely elementary library. =
One thing the librarian shared with us is that she shelves and identifies =
her AR books by their point value. I am wondering what ideas and suggestion=
s are out there on this topic. As a new librarian I am also considering =
doing this in my library, but I want to hear pros and cons before I do =
this.
