Sybil's notice about the Women's History Month site got me thinking about Black History Month and how we might celebrate it this year at my school. I was thinking we might convert it instead to an Ethnic History Month celebration with activities and displays relating to all ethnic groups and how they blend instead of focusing on just the one. Have any of you tried something like that? Do you think that is an offensive alteration to the concept of Black History Month? Please send comments to me personally and I'll post a hit if requested.
